ranked #1 by ben: "I'm a huge Batman fan, and 'Batman Begins' was by far my favorite Batman movie to date. I think that director Christopher Nolan really understands Batman as a character and I think 'The Dark Knight' will expand and build upon the stuff I loved in 'Begins'. Of course, what I'm most excited about is Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker. From the trailer, it looks like Ledger's performance is going to be spectacular and is really going to capture the madness and spine-chilling scariness of Batman's greatest villain."

So, from a pure story standpoint, expect Batman to hit absolute bottom by the end of this movie...." read full review at www.mtv.com
ranked #2 by Screen Rant: "Chris Nolan returns to direct Christian Bale as Batman in this sequel to the wildly successful Batman Begins by pitting our hero against his ultimate nemesis: The Joker. It was a tough call on this one, but despite the fact that Batman is a much more well known character, I think this may be overshadowed by the number one pick on this list...." read full review at screenrant.com
ranked #3 by phillyist: "Batman Begins had its issues, but despite them, it was pretty much the best Batman movie - and possibly the best comic book movie - ever made. And the sequel, which brings back pretty much the whole crew from the last movie, but adds Heath Ledger as the Joker and replaces the awful Katie Holmes (the only weak point) with Maggie Gyllenhaal, is looking like it could be even better...." read full review at phillyist.com
