General
What is Seekler?
You can get a general overview of Seekler here.
What are 'community lists'?
Community lists show the overall opinion of the Seekler community by merging our users' individual lists. For instance, if three users all have a list named 'Cities', Seekler builds a community list named 'Cities' that merges all three user lists.

Browsing
What is filtering?
Filtering allows you to narrow down a list to only see the items that are interesting to you.
You can filter a list on item names and tags. For instance, if you were browsing through the 'Movies' list, filtering by 'action' would show only those items that either had the word 'action' in their name or were tagged with the word 'action'. Filtering is case-insensitive, so filtering on 'Action' and 'action' will give the same results.
Additionally, lists can be filtered by the items they contain. For instance, if you were browsing popular lists, filtering on 'Batman' would show you the lists 'Batman Villains', 'Comics', and 'Movies'. 'Batman villains' has the word 'Batman' in its name, while the other two have items containing 'Batman'.
What does the 'find' button do?
Find lets you jump directly to a single item on a list. To find an item, you must enter the item's full name. Finding is case-insensitive, so the 'Pizza' and 'pizza' are the same. You can also find an item by entering its rank and clicking 'find'.
How can I jump directly to the item at rank X?
In the filter/find text box, type the rank and click 'find'.
Editing
How do I edit and add items to a community list?
You cannot directly edit the community list - it is built automatically from users' lists. But you can influence the community list by creating your own version of the list and adding items to it.
How do I rank items?
First, create a list. Then, add items to the list using the 'add item' tool (shown below). You can drag and drop your items to rearrange them.

The 'add item' tool. To add an item, type the name of the item and click 'add item'
How do I review items?
To review at item, you must first add it to your list (see above). Then, on the item, click 'reviews' and then click 'add review'. Enter your review and click 'save'.
How do I add comments?
You can add a comment to any list or item. Just scroll to the bottom of the page and click 'Add a comment'.
How do I save my list/item?
You don't need to manually save lists or items - every time an action takes place, lists and items are automatically saved. Don't worry - almost all actions can easily be undone. If you try to perform an action that cannot be undone, we'll warn you.
How do I reorder items on my list?
The easiest way to reorder items is to drag and drop them. Just click on an item and put it in the correct place. Alternately, you can click on an item's rank and change it directly.
How can I drag and drop items from one page to another (e.g. from rank 5 to rank 11)?
Unfortunately, you can't. Fortunately, you can click on the item's rank and set it to the new rank directly.
